Chris Wolf

Vice President, Gartner Research

Chris Wolf is a research vice president for Gartner's IT Professionals service. He covers server and client virtualization, cloud computing, data protection, management and classification, disaster recovery, and business continuity.

Mr. Wolf joined Gartner following the company's acquisition of Burton Group. Prior to joining Burton Group, he was a nationally recognized independent consultant, worked for several years at CommVault Systems, and started his IT career in the U.S. Marines. Mr. Wolf also authored "Virtualization: From the Desktop to the Enterprise," the first book published on the topic.
